Everything But Stromboli SanDisk USB Type-C 256GB Alternatives: 6 Similar Picks Compared

How these alternatives compare to the original

Vansuny 256GB USB-C/A Flash Drive

The Vansuny drive matches the 256GB capacity and USB 3.1 standard of the original SanDisk model. It also features dual USB-C and USB-A connectors for broad compatibility. However, its maximum read speed is 130 MB/s, which is slightly slower than the original’s 150 MB/s. You get similar OTG functionality for transferring files between Android devices and PCs. The Vansuny option is a practical choice if you need ample storage and dual connectivity but can tolerate a modest reduction in peak transfer speeds. It serves users who prioritize capacity and versatility over the absolute fastest data movement available in this category.

SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 32GB 5-Pack

This pack contains five 32GB drives, offering a different approach to storage needs compared to the single 256GB unit. Each drive supports USB 3.1 and includes USB-C connectors with OTG support. The total combined capacity is 160GB, which is less than the original’s single drive. You lose the high-capacity benefit but gain redundancy and portability. This option suits users who need multiple small drives for different devices or locations. It is ideal for bulk buyers who prefer distributing storage across several units rather than consolidating data on one larger drive. The swivel design and metal casing remain consistent with the original’s durability.

SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 64GB 5-Pack

The 64GB five-pack provides a middle ground between capacity and quantity. Each drive offers 64GB of storage with USB 3.1 speeds and USB-C connectivity. The total capacity across the five units is 320GB, which exceeds the original’s 256GB. You gain multiple backups and the convenience of having drives ready for various devices. This selection is best for users who need several reliable drives for everyday transfers. It sacrifices the single high-capacity convenience for greater flexibility and redundancy. The included lanyards and swivel design maintain the original’s portable and protective features. It is a solid choice for those who frequently move files between different computers and mobile devices.

SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 128GB USB Flash Drive

The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go offers 128GB of storage, which is half the capacity of the original 256GB model. It shares the same USB 3.1 speed of 150 MB/s and dual connector design. This drive is lighter and more compact, making it easier to carry. You trade storage space for a smaller form factor and potentially lower cost per gigabyte if bought separately. It is suitable for users who do not need large file storage but want fast transfer speeds. The dual connectors allow for easy use with both Android and PC devices. This option is ideal for those who prioritize speed and portability over maximum data capacity.

KOOTION 256GB USB-C Flash Drive

The KOOTION drive provides 256GB of storage with USB 3.0 connectivity, which is an older standard than the original’s USB 3.1. Its read speed is 100 MB/s, significantly slower than the original’s 150 MB/s. It features dual USB-C and USB-A connectors for wide device compatibility. You get the same capacity but with reduced transfer speeds and an older interface. This option is best for users who need large storage on a budget and can accept slower performance. It works well for transferring media files where speed is less critical. The dual-port design ensures it works with both modern and older devices. It is a practical choice for basic file management tasks.

Sanfeya 32GB Dual USB-C and USB 3.0 Flash Drive

The Sanfeya drive offers only 32GB of storage, much less than the original’s 256GB. It uses USB 3.0 connectivity and dual USB-C and USB-A connectors. The smaller capacity makes it suitable for small files or temporary transfers. You sacrifice significant storage space for a more affordable entry point. This drive is ideal for users who need a basic, budget-friendly option for occasional use. It supports OTG for connecting to Android devices and PCs. The compact design and dual connectors provide convenience, but the limited capacity restricts its use for large media files. It is a practical choice for light users who do not require high storage or fast transfer speeds.
