Connector Type
Both drives feature dual connectors for versatile use across different devices. The Everything But Stromboli unit includes a standard USB Type-A connector and a USB Type-C connector. This allows you to plug it directly into older computers and newer smartphones without adapters. The THKAILAR drive also provides both USB-A and USB-C connectors. It supports backward compatibility with USB 2.0 and 3.0 standards. This ensures you can connect to a wide range of legacy ports as well. Both options eliminate the need for separate cables for different device types.

The Everything But Stromboli drive features a swivel metal design. This mechanism protects the USB connectors from dirt and debris without requiring a removable cap. It also includes a loop for attaching to a keychain or lanyard. The THKAILAR drive uses a sleek metal casing as well. It measures 2.6 inches in length and 0.29 inches in height. The THKAILAR model is compact and portable, fitting easily into pockets. It also mentions compatibility with Apple iPhones. The THKAILAR drive lists support for iPhone 15, 16, and 17 models, alongside Android phones, Windows, Linux, and macOS systems. Both require OTG to be enabled on smartphones for data transfer. The THKAILAR specification explicitly lists a broader range of operating systems, including Linux.
Included Accessories
The Everything But Stromboli bundle includes a lanyard with the flash drive. This accessory allows you to attach the drive to your keys or bag for easy access. It helps prevent loss and keeps the drive secure during transport. The THKAILAR drive does not list any included accessories in its specifications. It focuses solely on the drive itself.
