Who it fits

Key specs explained for this drive

Storage Capacity: 256GB

This value indicates the total digital space available for your files. You can store thousands of photos, hours of video, and large documents without relying on cloud subscriptions. This capacity suits users who want a local backup solution for their iPhone or iPad. When comparing memory cards, look for similar high-capacity options that offer reliable local storage for media libraries.

Read Speed: up to 80MB/s

This metric shows how fast the drive retrieves data for playback or transfer. A speed of 80MB/s allows for smooth streaming of high-definition videos directly from the stick. It also speeds up the process of moving files to a computer. This performance level is practical for everyday media consumption and ensures you spend less time waiting for large files to load.

Connector Type: Lightning, Type-C

These interfaces allow the drive to connect directly to modern smartphones and tablets without extra adapters. The Lightning port serves iOS devices, while the Type-C port works with newer Android phones and laptops. This dual design eliminates the need for separate cables. When shopping for memory solutions, this versatility ensures compatibility across multiple devices in your ecosystem.

Compatible Device: PC, Android, iPhone

This specification confirms the drive works with a wide range of operating systems and hardware. You can use it with Windows or Mac computers, Android smartphones, and Apple iOS devices. This broad support makes it a flexible choice for transferring files between different platforms. It ensures you are not locked into a single brand ecosystem when managing your digital content.

Durable metal build and compact design

The listing states this drive uses high-quality metal materials for its construction. This choice suggests a sturdy exterior that resists daily wear. You get a compact form factor that fits easily into a pocket or bag. The unit also features a keychain design, allowing you to attach it to keys or a lanyard. This makes everyday carry convenient and reduces the risk of misplacing the drive while you are on the move.

The layout includes Lightning and USB-C connectors on the drive itself, plus a separate USB independent adapter. This 3-in-1 approach lets you move data between different devices without needing extra cables. You can connect it directly to iPhones and iPads, or use the adapter for computers. The listing notes the drive is waterproof, shockproof, temperature-resistant, and magnetic-resistant. These features mean your data stays safe even if the drive is exposed to harsh conditions or accidental drops.

According to the listing, the drive comes in Light Grey and Light Pink colors. The model is LES249. The size is 256GB. You do not need to download an app for Android or PC devices, but you must download the LESOGE app from the App Store to use it on iPhone or iPad. This software requirement is a key part of how you interact with the device's storage and file protection features.

Setup and everyday use guide

Setting up this drive depends on your device. You must download the LESOGE app from the App Store to use it on iPhone or iPad. Android phones and computers do not require any app installation. You can plug the drive directly into your Android phone or PC via the USB-C port. For older computers with only USB-A ports, you attach the separate USB adapter. This adapter allows you to transfer files to a desktop or laptop. Once connected, you can manage your files through the app or your operating system’s file explorer.

Daily use involves moving data between devices. You can back up photos, videos, and contacts quickly. The listing notes read speeds up to 80MB/s and write speeds up to 40MB/s. These speeds allow you to store large media files without long waits. You can also share content directly from the drive to social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. This feature lets you post moments without saving them to your phone’s internal storage first.

Security is handled through the drive’s encryption feature. You can lock specific files for added protection. The drive is compatible with iOS 12.1 and above. It also works with OTG Android phones. The metal build and keychain design make it easy to carry. You can attach it to your keys for safekeeping. This setup ensures you have reliable access to your data across multiple devices.

Before you buy this drive

You should verify your device compatibility before purchasing. This drive supports iOS 12.1 and later, so older iPhones may not work. You also need to check if your Android phone supports OTG connections for the USB-C port. The listing notes that displayed storage may vary slightly due to binary versus decimal system differences. You must download the LESOGE app from the App Store to use the drive on iOS devices. Android and PC users can plug it in directly without additional software. Keep the drive away from strong magnetic fields, as it offers magnetic-resistant protection. The metal build helps with shockproof durability, but you should still use the included keychain design for safe carrying. This option fits well alongside other memory cards if you need cross-device transfer. It complements standard SD cards by handling direct phone backups. You get a practical solution for managing photo storage without relying on iCloud. Check your specific device models to ensure seamless integration with your current setup.

Check before you buy

• Verify your iPhone runs iOS 12.1 or later for compatibility.
• Check if your Android phone supports OTG connections.
