Looking Beyond the Sandisk 32GB Dual Drive Go? 6 Alternatives Worth a Look

How Each Alternative Compares

SanDisk 32GB Ultra Dual Drive USB-C

The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive USB-C uses a retractable connector design, which protects the USB-C port when not in use. This contrasts with the original’s exposed metal housing. It also offers a silver color option alongside black. The drive supports USB 3.1 for data transfer. You get the same 32GB capacity and OTG dual drive functionality. This model suits users who prefer a cleaner look without a dangling cap. The retractable mechanism adds slight bulk, making it wider than the original. It remains a strong choice for Android users who want easy phone-to-PC transfers without losing the connector.

Sanfeya 32GB Dual USB-C and USB 3.0 Flash Drive

The Sanfeya drive features a durable metal build, offering better protection against drops compared to the original’s plastic casing. It supports USB 3.0, which is slightly older than the original’s USB 3.1 Gen 1 specification. The physical dimensions are smaller, measuring 1.41 inches in length versus the original’s 5.94 inches. This compact size makes it easier to carry in a pocket. It retains the 32GB capacity and OTG dual drive features. You lose the automatic backup app integration found in the SanDisk model. This drive is ideal for travelers or students who prioritize portability and cross-platform compatibility over brand-specific software features.

KOOTION 32GB Dual USB-C and USB 3.0 Flash Drive

The KOOTION drive provides basic dual-port connectivity at a lower price point, making it a budget-friendly option. It supports USB 3.0, which may result in slower transfer speeds compared to the original’s USB 3.1 Gen 1. The drive is slightly shorter, measuring 2.13 inches in length. It offers the same 32GB storage capacity and OTG functionality. You do not get the automatic photo backup app or the high-performance read speeds of the original. The blue color option adds a visual difference. This drive suits buyers who prioritize affordable, versatile storage for everyday use on smartphones and laptops. It is a practical choice if you do not need the fastest possible data transfer rates.

SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe 32GB 5-Pack

This 5-pack from Everything But Stromboli offers multiple identical drives for team or household use. Each drive supports USB 3.1 and includes both USB-C and USB-A connectors. The capacity is 32GB per drive, matching the original. The model number suggests it is the Ultra Dual Drive Luxe variant. You gain the convenience of having multiple drives without managing individual purchases. The original drive is a single unit with automatic backup features. This pack lacks the specific app integration and single-unit portability. It is best for users who need to share files across several computers and phones. The bulk purchase model fits teams or families needing consistent storage solutions across multiple devices.

Vansuny 32GB USB-C USB 3.0 3-Pack

The Vansuny 3-Pack provides three drives for budget-conscious users. Each drive supports USB 3.0 and includes USB-C connectivity. The capacity is 32GB, matching the original. The physical size is compact, measuring 2.24 inches in length. You get basic OTG dual drive functionality. This option sacrifices the higher USB 3.1 speeds and the automatic backup app of the original SanDisk drive. The color options are limited to the pack designation. It suits users who prioritize quantity and basic compatibility over high-speed performance. This is a practical choice for those who need multiple drives for different devices or locations without investing in premium features.

SanDisk 32GB Dual Drive Go USB-C

This SanDisk model is nearly identical to the original but comes in a 5-pack configuration from Everything But Stromboli. It features the same 150MB/s read speed and USB 3.1 Gen 1 support. The model number SDDDC3-032G-GAM46 indicates it is the Dual Drive Go variant. The physical dimensions are slightly different, measuring 1.75 inches in length. It retains the automatic backup app integration and OTG dual drive features. You gain the convenience of multiple drives for sharing or backup purposes. The original is a single unit. This pack is ideal for users who want the exact same performance and features as the top pick but need to equip multiple devices simultaneously. It ensures consistent performance across all drives in the set.
